Lexi and Richy's story began in the fall of 2021 with a simple swipe on a dating app. What started as a casual conversation quickly turned into something neither of them expected. At the time, Lexi was living in Athens and attending hair school, while Richy was living and working in Gainesville. Distance didn't seem to matter much because they would find every excuse to see each other. Whether it was a drive to Athens or a trip to Gainesville, they would spend as much time together as possible and quickly became inseparable. Before long, Lexi and Richy realized saying goodbye at the end of every visit was the hardest part of their week. It didn't take them long to decide that life was simply better together, so they took the next step and Richy moved to Athens for Lexi. Over the next 3 years, they built a life filled with love, trust, respect and plenty of memories. They proudly became dog parents to their two cute pups, who have kept life entertaining ever since. Then came the easiest "yes" ever. In June of 2025 during a "couples photoshoot", Richy proposed to Lexi. What started with a swipe has grown into a beautiful life together, and they can't wait to celebrate the beginning of their forever with you all. September 26, 2026 <3
