The Bull's Head Inn is a family-owned and operated restaurant that has been renovated and restored to its original beauty. Originally an 18th-century farmhouse, it is situated on historic Sarah Wells Trail. Sarah Wells Trail served as the main thoroughfare for early settlers of Orange County. Many of the area's first buildings were constructed along the trail including this farmhouse which became a dining establishment in 1967.

Howe Caverns is the largest show cave in the Northeast U.S., and is the second most visited natural attraction in the state of New York, welcoming an average of 150,000 visitors per year. It was discovered in 1842 and early tours were given from 1843 to 1900. Present day guided tours of its living limestone cave have been conducted for 90 years. The site is located in Schoharie County, with spectacular views overlooking the Helderberg Plateau.
North Rim and South Rim Red Trail Loop is a 6.2 mile heavily trafficked loop trail located near Schenectady, New York that features a waterfall and is rated as moderate. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from March until November. Dogs are also able to use this trail.
