We met online and quickly became friends, but our first date is where everything truly began. When we finally met, our first date at a cocktail bar turned into hours of conversation into the early morning-and we instantly knew there was something special. Life took Mike to Virginia, but a few months later he reached out on Valentines Day asking me to be his Valentine-and we picked up right where we left off. After visits, long-distance weekends, and choosing each other again and again, his job brought him back to North Carolina, and that's when our real story truly began. He later planned the sweetest date at an apple orchard-live music, tastings, and a stroll back to the truck-where he surprised us with a quiet, intimate proposal. Amelia Island holds such a special place in our hearts. It's where we've shared some of our favorite date nights and where we fell even more deeply in love, making it the perfect place to begin our forever.
