In order to ensure that everyone can celebrate safely, we are asking that all guests — regardless of vaccination status — take a PCR test within 48 hours of their first event and provide negative results at the door. If obtaining a test is too difficult within that timeline, we have hired two rapid test companies for the Rehearsal Dinner and Ceremony. These negative results are also acceptable. For more information on rapid testing, pricing, and times see the SCHEDULE PAGE. For further safety, we highly encourage that all guests utilize our shuttle service to get to and from the ceremony. Calamigos is deep within the hills of Malibu, the roads are dark and winding. Even if you are not staying at the Sheraton or Four Seasons, we suggest you park there, and utilize the shuttle service. See more details on the shuttle page.
Unfortunately, we have to postpone the wedding. The pandemic and resulting conditions will severely restrict the event, so we opted to delay the big day in order to have a full experience. We apologize for disruption to any plans or reservations. We were able to secure the same venue and vendors — the only change is the date. We can't wait to celebrate with you all safely! Expect a new Save The Date in the mail.
During Orientation Week, Chapman University hosts a Meet-Your-Major lunch, intended to introduce classmates before classes begin. Amongst the Psychology tables, one table remained with one chair left — across from Michael and his parents. The two met and quickly became friends. Michael began to ask Lexi to dinner (frequently). After many attempts, Lexi said yes and the two made it official boyfriend-girlfriend in May 2013.
In preparation for a trip home to see their families, Michael invited Lexi to dinner after work, keeping her out of the house for the day. Meanwhile, Michael had decorated their apartment. At dinner, the two joked about their relationship, Michael teased that he would like to one day get "promoted" from his current position. After she insisted they walk home to stop for groceries, check the mail, take the dog out, organize the kitchen... She finally encountered Michael's display and said, "About that promotion," as he got down on one knee.
