Not all of us stumble into love at the grocery store or our favorite coffee shop. For us, it was a like and comment on Hinge, a few months of Lexi playing hard to get, and a first date in Lexi’s studio apartment in May 2022. We knew we had something special when 2 months into dating Kayla moved to Arizona and we didn’t hesitate to trust that what we had built so far would only continue to grow through long distance. After 10 months of flights, facetimes, and long phone conversations, we made the 25 hour road trip to move Kayla back to Minnesota. We spent 2 more years dating while living with family (love you mom and dad) before getting engaged in December 2024. Lexi proposed first at Sweetbriar Ridge in Pine City, MN (we 10/10 recommend this little oasis!!!), and Kayla asked Lexi the first night after moving into our place together a couple months later. That brings us to now. We could not be more excited to celebrate our love with all of our family and friends in September. We don’t see this as the start of forever but rather a continuation of the forever we always knew was ours. See you on the dance floor!!
