We’re getting married!

If you know me (Lexi), you know I’ve always been obsessed with Christmas. I absolutely love binge watching Hallmark movies whether it’s around Christmas time or all year round. I think it’s safe to say that I have officially gotten my Hallmark Christmas with this proposal. Really, the whole story can be considered a Hallmark movie. The very first time we met, John Marshall made it seem as if he cancelled plans at the last minute. Of course, I was incredibly disappointed, but moments later I received a FaceTime from him. He was talking to me as he was getting ready for his next task with work, and then I heard my doorbell ring. He said “you better get that”. I will absolutely never forget the moment that I opened the door to see him standing there. I don’t think I’ve ever had such a romantic gesture in my life. I have always believed in taking things slow and steady but, with him, everything just felt natural and moved along way quicker than anticipated. I’ll never forget the first time that the words I love you accidentally slipped out of his mouth. We both had kind of discussed how we felt this way but were a little too nervous to fully express our true feelings. One time on the phone he slipped up a little bit but instead of finishing the word love he said lima bean to try to cover his tracks. I lima bean you? So it is forever our phrase! Fast forward to Christmas of 2020 and I got my dream proposal. He was able to combine the two things I love most; Christmas and the beach! I’ll never forget my aunt texting me, telling me that she watched the proposal online and saying “ You finally got your Hallmark movie!” I believe she's correct!😉
