FAQs

Question

The wedding and the reception are in two different places? Why?

Answer

Our Nuptial Mass is taking place at St. Joseph's Parish in Milford, IA. This is by far the most beautiful church in the area, and the liturgy is our first priority of the day! Enjoy the unique architecture and allow the Beauty to draw you into deeper prayer. Lexi's parents own The Great Hall of Royal, so it is only fitting that we should celebrate there!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Oh heck yeah. We love kids - please bring them! We will have plenty of space for them to run around that is safe and contained, as well as activities to help them feel welcome.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend at least 20 minutes early - that will give time for you to be seated and prayerfully prepare for the Mass.

Question

I'm not Catholic; am I still welcome at Mass?

Answer

Yes!! If you are not a practicing Catholic, you are still invited to come and pray with us. As Catholics we believe that the Eucharist is the Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of Jesus, so if you are not Catholic or have been away from the Church, you are invited to receive a blessing from a priest or receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation prior to Communion.
