How We Met; Eliu and I met on a school soccer bus when I was 14 and he was 16. Neither of us normally rode the bus, but that night we both just happened to be on it. Looking back, we truly believe it was fate and that God placed us there at the same time so we could meet. What started as a simple conversation quickly turned into something so special, and from that moment on our story began. The Proposal; After four years of growing together and building our relationship, Eliu asked me to marry him. The day after his little sister’s birthday party, he took me to a beautiful venue on the water in front of his whole family where he got down on one knee and asked me to spend forever with him. It was the easiest “yes,” and the beginning of our next chapter together.
