(This story is in Lexi's POV) Our love story is a special one. We grew up together, we were neighbors. We rode the school bus together. Our first kiss was actually on the school bus and he kissed me, quite the little flirt. The school bus kiss is my favorite story to tell even tho there's not much to it, I think it is because Eli gets embarrassed when I talk about it. I always liked that little neighbor boy, he had this kind of charm little me never wanted to lose. I would often think to myself, "I want that cowboy". Well, I got that cowboy. While we were in school together we were off and on being boyfriend and girlfriend. I told Eli when I was in 7th or 8th grade that he had to grow up a little bit if he wanted me to be his girlfriend. Time went on, I moved schools, got a boyfriend, all of that stuff, then I seen Eli. We were at Duncan Ranch Rodeo, he said hi and I said hi back and we just got to talking, I knew he had changed, he showed it in the way he walked and talked. He told me, "I've been doing good, we're going to start working on building US a house." When those words came out of his mouth, I knew he would never let me go again and I knew he would be the one I would fight for. Ever since that night at the rodeo, we have been attached at the hip. We've had our ups and downs through out the time we've been together but I have always loved that neighbor boy, the one that has the cowboy charm, the one that stole my heart in grade school, the one that never gave up on me. Even in our time apart I would always pray to see him at the gas station or anywhere so I could talk to him, hear his voice, and know he was doing okay. Not a day went by that I didn't think about him. We were only together 8 months when he proposed, but I had never been so sure about something in my whole life. I was only 18 and will be married at 19, I feel too young for this but I've never wanted something more. When we get married we will be together for a year and a half, even though it feels like we've been together a lifetime. Eli is the man I've always dreamed of, he's not perfect and has his flaws but we all do. I never go a day without laughing or smiling, I've never felt so known before. He truly is the love of my life and I wouldn't ever dream of it being anyone else. So, Eli David, I am so ecstatic to be your bride and you my groom. God has big plans for us and I can't wait to see them unravel. Let's get married, cowboy!
