DJ & I met at a time in our lives when we weren't looking for love, it just happened. We met each other through a close friend when we were around 15. However, we didn't really get to know each other until I was almost 16 and DJ just turned 17. All it took was one day by the pool with a few friends and we have talked all day, everyday since. Our first date was downtown Montgomery at The House restaurant. We talked the entire meal, mostly about how DJ thought the amount of food for the price was outrageous (nothing has changed!), and then walked all around downtown just so we didn't have to go home. We connected on such a deep level at such a fast pace that I knew it was meant to be. My favorite memory of that night is when DJ dropped me off at my mom's house. We awkwardly walked up to the front door anticipating a first kiss, only for it to be ruined by my younger sister plowing through the front door asking a million questions about our night. I will never forget how pink DJ's face turned from embarrassment. 8 years down the road and here we are with a beautiful little girl and forever to go! We are so excited to be turning the page to a new chapter in our lives.
