This wedding is a black-tie event. Please wear a floor length gown or black tuxedo. We can't wait to see everyone all dressed up!
If you want to rent a tuxedo locally there are a few options in Maryville/Knoxville. You can get your measurements taken at any tuxedo shop near you and then call and order a tuxedo to rent for the weekend. Locally you can try: https://www.jimsformalwear.com/ You can also rent online through: https://theblacktux.com/
Townsend is known as the peaceful side of the Smoky Mountains. With that being said, there are not many high-quality hotels in the area. We have a block of rooms at Tremont Lodge, but highly recommend renting a cabin in the area. If you would like to stay in a different hotel there is also a Best Western and Dancing Bear Lodge in the area. You can find our recommendations in the "travel" section of our website.
You are more than welcome to find your own lodging! Please know that the Smoky Mountains are notorious for winding roads and long travel times. We highly recommend mapping the travel time from the house you are interested in to the venue before booking. A significant portion of Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg appear much closer than they are!
The ceremony begins at 4pm. Please plan on being seated by then so we can start on time! We suggest arriving around 3:30pm.
There is gravel parking at the ceremony/reception site with a drop off area at the entrance to the venue. Harper's Vineyard provides a parking attendant to assist with parking upon arrival.
Because we do not have central lodging, we will not be organizing a group shuttle. There is Uber available in Townsend if needed at the end of the night.
We kindly ask that you put your phone away during the ceremony. We have hired an excellent photographer and videographer who will capture all of those special moments and we promise to share them with you after the wedding! Feel free to take pictures before and after the ceremony!
