Arturo and Lexi met in October of 2016 while both working as servers at TGI Friday’s in Piscataway, NJ. Arturo was actually one of Lexi’s trainers during her first week! They became friends and bonded over their shared love of movies, video games, and all things nerdy and the rest is history! The first date was at the movie theater to see a movie and then Wendy’s for dinner! (Nothing beats a 4 for $4!!)

After 6 years of dating, Arturo proposed to Lexi on December 23rd, 2023, just in time for Christmas! He proposed at Anne Ellen Farm in Manalapan, NJ under thousands of beautiful Christmas lights. Even though it was the coldest day of the year (only 9 degrees!), it was a beautiful Christmas miracle.
