SNA is located in Santa Ana, and is the closest airport to San Clemente. This may be the ideal choice for some guests, but we still recommend comparing rates to San Diego and Los Angeles airports. SNA is 27 miles from San Clemente (estimated 30 minute drive).

Although SAN is not the closest airport to San Clemente, it is the least crowded and easiest to travel in and out of. We recommend comparing rates to airports in Orange County and Los Angeles before booking. SAN is 62 miles from San Clemente (estimated 60 minute drive).

LAX typically offers the most options for domestic and international flights, but is the most crowded airport in the area. When making your travel arrangements, please consider that this is one of the busiest airports in the United States and its location is notorious for the traffic. LAX is 70 miles from San Clemente (travel time heavily relies on the time of day).
