Our story began in 2013 in Baltimore, Maryland. Just a few weeks into our collegiate soccer schedule, we eagerly joined the upperclassmen at our first college party. Andrew arrived with the men's team and Lexi with the women's. Naturally, the two teams started talking, and that's when we officially met, spending the night dancing and celebrating together. After the party, we spent most of our days doing homework in the Atheneum, grabbing food at Stimson, and hanging out in the SRC. Then, on October 6, 2013, we made it official when Andrew asked Lexi to be his girlfriend. The rest is history!

During our first trip to California, Lexi's sister Caitlin and her fiancé Alec arranged for a special dinner at Shutters in Santa Monica. Lexi thought we were all getting ready to take some group photos on the deck overlooking the beach in Malibu. Andrew was already out on the deck waiting for Lexi, as usual. When Lexi finally joined the group, she went to watch the "dolphins" with Andrew. As she turned around, she found Andrew down on one knee, asking the magic question! After a moment of shock and wondering why now instead of in 2024, Lexi quickly said, "Yes!"
