Things To Do

We're so excited to share a few of our favorite places in the area with you!
Pie in the Sky Bakery & Cafe

Pie in the Sky Bakery & Cafe

10 Water Street, Falmouth, MA 02543
, (508) 540-5475

The best chai latte you’ll ever have! This adorable little coffee/breakfast shop is a favorite of ours down on the main road in Woods Hole by the water. Besides chai latte, their coffee is made fresh on site, and their pastries and quiche is to die for. Plenty of shops along this strip to hit as well.

Pier 37 Boathouse

Pier 37 Boathouse

88 Scranton Avenue, Falmouth, MA 02540
, (508) 388-7573

One of our favorite summertime water front restaurants to hit! And a great place to watch boats coming in and out of Falmouth harbor. Notable mentions include their fried shrimp, seafood pasta and burgers. At night this place turns into a club if you are looking for a little nightlife.

Villaggio Ristorante

Villaggio Ristorante

4631 Falmouth Road, Barnstable, MA 02635
, (508) 428-0000

This restaurant is a tad out of the way but if you want an authentic nice Italian dinner in an old colonial home, this is our favorite Italian place on the cape. This one is on the pricier side but the food is phenomenal all around.

Mashpee Commons

Mashpee Commons

22 Steeple Street, Mashpee, MA 02649
, (508) 477-5400

The cutest outdoor mall/shopping center of cape cod. Restaurants of all sorts, and shopping of all sorts. Movie theater. Bowling. Workout center/workout classes. Ceramic decorating. Smoothie shops. Boutiques. Souvenir stores. You name it!

Añejo Mexican Bistro

Añejo Mexican Bistro

188 Main Street, Falmouth, MA 02540
, (508) 388-7631

The hottest restaurant in Falmouth. A fancier twist on Mexican food, and tequila bar. Be sure to check in online to be put on the waitlist beforehand as this place doesn’t take reservations and is packed even during the off season! Sandwiched between tons of shops in downtown Falmouth and many other restaurant choices. We love their homemade guacamole, twist on traditional queso, plethora of fancy tacos, and other non traditional Mexican dishes that will surprise your tastebuds.

La Cucina Sul Mare

La Cucina Sul Mare

237 Main Street, Falmouth, MA 02540
, (508) 548-5600

Another homemade authentic Italian restaurant but at an easier access location to the sea crest and where events will be taking place. Downtown Falmouth near anejo and next to all the Main Street shops. Serving alcohol free wine for those of us that are sober and homemade pasta and sauces, this is a day one favorite of ours.

Martha's Vineyard

Martha's Vineyard

MA

Take the ferry to Martha’s Vineyard, check out the original Black Dog Cafe in Vineyard Haven, nightlife/bar scene/shopping and fudge shops on the water in oak bluffs, some higher end shopping in Edgar town, State Beach and it’s crystal blue waters, rent a jeep and drive onto Chappy Beach, check out the gingerbread house village, a nighttime donut shop favorite, rent jetskis, murdicks homemade fudge, and biscuit house for breakfast. Text us for more recommendations for the vineyard!

Nantucket

Nantucket

Nantucket, MA

Take the ferry to Nantucket for the day! Known for their beautiful hydrangeas that should be in full bloom in June. Shopping, restaurants, gazebo bar, fresh ice cream, historical landmarks, beautiful scenery, beaches and cobble stone streets.

Sandy Neck Beach

Sandy Neck Beach

Sandwich, MA 02668

If you’re looking for a large wide open beach with clear blue waters and white sand, look no further. Sandy neck also is a beach that you can drive on! One of Lexey’s favorites to take the dogs during off season with so much space to run around!

DJ's Famous Wings

DJ's Famous Wings

874 Main Street, Falmouth, MA 02540
, (508) 457-9464

Jeff’s favorite place to get wings! Wings of all types, and a large menu to offer outside of just wings as well. We love to get takeout from here and it’s also conveniently located in downtown Falmouth!

Megansett Beach

Megansett Beach

239 County Road, Falmouth, MA 02556

A smaller beach on a corner, watch boats come in and out of the little waterway. There is a giant jetty to walk out on, fish on, great area to swim as well. Sail boats galore.

Nobska Lighthouse

Nobska Lighthouse

233 Nobska Road, Falmouth, MA 02543
, (774) 763-6453

Check out the Nobska lighthouse, a world famous lighthouse and huge attraction for tourists, located on one of the most beautiful strips of scenic driving along the ocean. Not far from all the festivities, the sunsets here and on the beach next to the lighthouse are unbeatable. Look out over the ocean and see the vineyard across the sound!

Pickle Jar Kitchen

Pickle Jar Kitchen

170 Main Street, Falmouth, MA 02540
, (508) 540-6760

Also located on the main strip of shops and restaurants in downtown Falmouth, this casual little breakfast place is a favorite of locals in the bridal party and of the many summer tourists.

Picnic Box

Picnic Box

Rotary Circle, Mashpee, MA 02649
, (508) 539-0303

Jeff and Lexey’s favorite sandwich shop to drop into on the way to the beach to get sandwiches for the day! Open only until 2pm, breakfast and lunch only and oh so delicious. Located at the mashpee rotary and next to an ice cream shop!
