When you received news of our engagement, saw our invitation in the mail, and now find yourself reading our wedding details on this website, you may have been thinking, "Oh, this is fast," or perhaps wondering if there's more to the story. Whatever your initial response may or may not have been, we're thrilled you're here, and we're happy to share that we simply couldn't wait any longer to begin this next chapter together. When Rob and I first began having conversations about what felt right for us regarding our engagement and vision for our wedding weekend, it became clear we were perfectly aligned—and we're so happy you're on this page with us now. Our quickly approaching wedding date was chosen because it falls within days of our first date anniversary. That first date changed the trajectory of our life paths from two individuals with personal missions to a partnership—a team of two, supporting, encouraging, and uplifting one another as we continue our missions while walking this path together, side by side, hand in hand, creating an even grander vision of the impact we can make together. Included in this vision is a small, intimate wedding weekend with our immediate family and closest friends. That's you. We've chosen to be surrounded by those we hold closest to our hearts—those who hold the highest and best hopes for our lives and marriage, and who share our values about the importance of this covenant. We are so grateful to share this weekend with you and to be witnessed by you as we make this commitment, because we trust that you will lovingly hold us to this promise for the rest of our lives. The invitation you received was sent to you because of the special and invaluable role you have played in each of our lives, and we look forward to celebrating with you. Whether or not you can attend is perfectly fine, because we trust you will be exactly where you need to be, doing exactly what you need to be doing that weekend.
