Mike proposed in Rome on March 18, 2023 and pulled off the ultimate surprise. Lex had no idea and was confused why Mike was so stressed out upon arriving on their vacation. Despite coming off a red-eye flight, issues with the rental car, challenges with parking and Lex giving Mike a hard time for rushing "with nowhere to be", she said yes. And despite Lex telling Mike that perhaps she should make the plans for the day since "he was not very grounded", he still asked.
