This is a local diner we love to go to! There are a couple of locations in the city, but we recommend the spot on Clark street since it is in neighborhood of Andersonville which is a fun area with lots of fun shops.

Dayglow has great coffee! If the weather is nice it is also right next to a fun walking path called the 606. Grab a fun latte and check out this recreational trail that used to be a railroad line.
Great place to get bagels! There are a couple of locations in the city. The one listed here is on Southport, which has a number of other restaurants and shops along the street. If you have extra time, check the schedule for the Music Box Theater, it is one of our favorite places to see movies!

Come here for some of the best cupcakes in the city! The salted caramel is a must. Stick around and check out the rest of Lincoln Square for shopping, drinks, or a movie at the Davis Theater.
Looking for some pizza?? Pequod's has some of the best deep dish in the city. Its located in Lincoln Park just a short walk from the Brown Line.
This is a spot we usually love to take friends who are coming in from out of town. The food and drinks are always delicious and the Fulton Market area is never short on things to do!
