Prelude ~ In August of 2014, during freshmen orientation at Saint Leo University, Lex and Becky joined their friends on an adventure to the movies. Afterwards, their groups came together and decided to cross the street to get some coffee. On the way back towards the theater, Magic happened... From Becky’s point-of-view ~ “I STEPPED IN AN ANT PILE! Ohmygosh of course this would happen to me, don’t scream like a little girl. Okay, wow, everyone just left me behind. Oh wait, who’s this guy? He’s pretty handsome...” From Lex’s point-of-view ~ “what’s this?? A damsel-in-distress?? A beautiful damsel I might add. I shall sweep her off her feet and save her from the wretched creatures...” Yes, Lex was the only one who stopped to make sure Becky was okay. It was at that moment they began to learn more about each other and wanted to spend more time together. On September 23rd, they shared their first kiss under the stars and started “dating”. Ever since, their eternal love for each other grew and grew! Five years later, in the Great Smoky Mountains of Tennessee, Lex asked Becky to marry him on September 21st! This is how the very special wedding date came to be 9/23/21.
