On a rooftop above the crystal clear waters of the Adriatic in a small town in Italy, Polignano a Mare. We were on the 3rd day of our vacation together traveling through the region of Puglia and we had just checked in to the most charming little boutique hotel, Tre Archi. The front desk receptionist let us know we had prosecco waiting for us in our room and that since it was almost sunset we should go check out the views from the rooftop. We headed up to the roof and with it being a small hotel, luckily had the roof to ourselves! After a few minutes Julian mentioned he forgot his phone in the room and that he wanted to get it to take some pictures. As I waited on the roof for him to get back I remember thinking just how beautiful the view was and I couldn't wait for another great Italian dinner. On his way back up the stairs I looked down to smile at him and when he got to the top step he knelt down and proposed, leaving me speechless. It was truly the most magical moment and we of course celebrated with Espresso Martini's and a delicious Italian meal.
