We met like all modern couples do...on a dating app. He swiped right. She left him on read. They forget about each other for a few months. She swipes right and sends a message. He responds back, within a few days asked her to go out, and the rest is history.

We went and grabbed a drink together at Bold Monk in Atlanta's Westside. She thought they were meeting for dinner and when he didn't order anything to eat, neither did she. On the way home after two hours together, she called her now Maid of Honor Sam, and went through the Taco Bell line. Sam said, "It's weird you didn't eat at Bold Monk, would you go on another date with him?" And I replied, "It was weird, but I'm interested about going on another date with him." She gets home and sees a message from him on the app about forgetting to get her phone number and that he'd want to see her again. She leaves him on read for less than 24 hours and he says it felt like 3 days before I responded.

Two years to the date, Greg popped the question but not before totally fooling Emma into thinking it wasn't happening. We went back to Little Tart for breakfast, ran an errand for Emma, and then Greg faked her out by taking her to a bridge overlooking the city before their lunch plans. We have made it a tradition to go back to Bold Monk on our dating anniversary. When we pulled in, we were there a bit early. Greg asked Emma to go up to the garden that the restaurant has and popped the question. He then told her that he had lied about the time of our reservation and that our friends would be showing up to celebrate with us.
