We first met through mutual friends in college long before we started dating, and it was those same friends that brought us together again (this time officially) when we both moved to Chicago in the summer of 2016. Dana had just moved back to the Midwest from LA and John had spent 6-months in Singapore and a few years working in Detroit. They do say, timing is everything. A few weeks into living in Chicago, we started spending more and more time together, discovering our shared passions for live music and comedy shows, travel, trying new restaurants and enjoying a nice patio cocktail. While our first trip together was only as far as Milwaukee, we have since begun traveling the world together. A favorite was visiting Bali and scuba diving in the Komodo Islands. As our friends and family know, we have lived in many different places together, but the one constant was always each other. We can’t wait to start the next chapter of our lives together and can’t wait to celebrate with all of you in December!
