Dunn’s River Falls is one of Jamaica’s national treasures. It is an astounding flowing falls that extends across more than 183 metres or 960 feet and is one of the most well-loved travel destinations on the island and a ‘must-do’ bucket list item. You can climb the falls and/or zipline over them.

This is a MUST DO for Zoë (and now Sam) everytime we visit Jamaica. It is about an hour away from Ocho Rios but definitely worth the trip. The captivating White River flowing beneath Spanish Bridge makes it a delightful swimming spot. Built in the 1770s this historic bridge is roughly 45 minutes from Ocho Rios. The main attraction at the bridge is rope swinging into the cool river or you can go diving, tubing, or fishing. If you prefer lazing around the lush landscape the river serves as a spot to sunbathe or barbeque. Take your swim wear, towel, and music on your day out.
