Flight
Flying directly to Nantucket (ACK) is the fastest, most convenient option. Most major airlines departing from ATL & SLC will likely connect through BOS, JFK, LGA, EWR. Flights can be booked on the same ticket or separate ticket with Cape Air. We kindly suggest booking flights at your earliest convenience to secure the best airfare rates.
Train
If you are flying into Boston, we recommend taking a bus from Boston Logan Airport to Hyannis on the Peter Pan Bus Line. Peter Pan bus schedule picks up at BOS and is a 2.5hr ride to Hyannis. **We do not recommend renting a car at BOS to avoid the hassle of renting and parking in Hyannis for the weekend.**
Travel Note
From the Boston area, the best way to get to Nantucket is the ferry! There are ferries available from Hyannis (primarily), Harwich, and New Bedford. We suggest making ferry reservations at least 1-2mo in advance as they can sell out. The fast ferry is a 1hr trip from Hyannis and the car ferry is 2hr 15mins (though there is no need to bring a car for the weekend). The "view" link below will direct you to the seasonal schedule. Travel Note
There is no need to rent a car on Nantucket. There are plenty of bike friendly options (Bikes may be provided by hotel or available to rent) as well as Ubers/taxis. Our main wedding events are within walking distance of Nantucket Town Center. The NRTA Wave (Bus system) is a great way to get around the island as well (specifically to some of the beaches, Siasconset, and Madaket).
