Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Yes! Please visit our “Schedule” page for the latest and greatest information.

Question

I want to take one of the buses to and from the venue - what's the schedule for Saturday?

Answer

Buses will pick up guests from each of the Read House, the Chattanoogan, and the DoubleTree at the following times: READ HOUSE: Arriving at 3:15 pm; Departing by 3:30 pm DOUBLETREE: Arriving at 3 pm; Departing by 3:15 pm (will head to Chattanoogan) CHATTANOOGAN: Arriving by 3:20 pm; Departing by 3:30 pm If you are not staying at one of the hotel blocks but would like to catch a shuttle, we would recommend using one of the Read House shuttles (it should have the most extra capacity). RETURN TRIP: The buses to the Read House and the bus to DoubleTree/Chattanooga will all depart the venue at 10 pm, but there will be a smaller shuttle to take some guests to the Read House around 8 pm.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes, there is parking onsite at the venue.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 4:30 pm ET. Please plan to arrive a few minutes in advance to find your seats.

Question

I have a food allergy - can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, of course. We have worked with our caterer to ensure there are options for everyone and that allergens are clearly noted. To the extent you have any questions regarding any meals being served, the catering staff on hand will be able to assist.

Question

Can we bring our kids?

Answer

Although we love all of your nuggets dearly, we are asking everyone to enjoy a night of child-free fun!

Question

What’s the deal with this free CARTA shuttle in Chattanooga?

Answer

Chattanooga’s public transit system offers a free electric shuttle in the downtown area, which runs from Shuttle Park North on Broad Street (near the aquarium) to Shuttle Park South on Market Street (near Choo Choo) from 6:30 am to 11 pm. This would be a great option for folks to get around while exploring Chattanooga and/or attending any of the events on Friday or Sunday. Each of the hotels listed on the "Travel" page are within an approximate 5-minute (or less) walk to a stop on the free shuttle’s route.

Question

What should I do while I’m in Chattanooga?

Answer

We tried to share a variety of ideas on the “Things to Do” page, but there are tons of great options for food, drinks, and adventures both big and small. By no means are the activities/locations included an exhaustive list of everything Chattanooga has to offer. If you find any gems during your travels, please let us know so we can check it out during future trips!
