What is the dress code?

Answer

We want you to look and feel your best self on our special day and won't hold you back with a strict dress code. If you need some help - think summer garden wedding/semi formal. Bright colours and patterns encouraged. You may like to consider the summer weather and the nature of an outdoor ceremony. The reception is fully air conditioned. Please refrain from wearing white (duh).

Will the ceremony be outdoors?

Answer

Yes, the ceremony will be held in King Edward Park - an outdoor venue. Umbrellas for heat/rain will be made available and handheld fans if necessary.

Where should we stay?

Answer

There are plenty of hotels and airbnb's available in Newcastle. If you want to be close to the venue, we would suggest staying in the cbd. You will also be in walking distance of many cafes, bars and restaurants. If you don't mind a 20-30 minute drive, you could also stay in the Lake Macquarie area.

Gift registry/gifts

Answer

After living together for some time, we are fortunate enough to have what we need to start our married life. We do however have some big honeymoon aspirations! If choosing to give a gift, we would greatly appreciate a contribution towards our dream honeymoon in July.

Food/Dietary

Answer

The entire wedding will be gluten free, including grazing, sit down meal and dessert. If you have any other dietary requirements, please let us know on your RSVP
