Please arrive from 13:30 to be ready for the ceremony to begin at 14:00.
Limited car parking is available, in the courtyard and rear car park. The venue advises that visitors with disabilities park in the Main Courtyard. Vehicles can be left in the courtyards. Should you wish to leave a vehicle overnight this is entirely at your own risk and you must let Amy or Lewis know so that we can arrange for you to collect it on Sunday morning (between 10 and 11am). Please do not park on the streets outside the venue as this is residential area and we want to respect local residents.
We want our guests to be as comfortable as possible: it's August, it might be 30 degrees celsius if we're lucky! Or it might belt it down, so maybe have a brolly to hand just in case. Please just come in something you are comfortable in, we just ask you don't take the mick and turn up in a football shirt or hot pants for example.
Fingers crossed we will be having the ceremony outdoors (there is an indoor back-up in case the British weather lets us down). The grounds are mainly grass so do be careful if you're coming in heels. There may be limited seating outside, so please let us know if you need a seat reserving for accessibility reasons. However, there is plenty of space and seating inside for the meal and the party.
The wedding breakfast will be a grazing table with a mix of charcuterie so there will be something for everyone and no need to pre-book a specific menu option. Please let specify any allergies or dietary requirements (eg Gluten Free) when you RSVP. PS all catering will be vegetarian - as both the bride and groom are veggie/vegan, it would be weird for us to be buying meat (sorry Dad).
If they're included on the invitation then yes, absolutely! We will have plenty of games and activities for children and adults alike to keep everyone entertained throughout the day, so please don't leave any invited little ones behind. There is also a separate quiet room at the venue should any children or parents need a bit of a break from the festivities.
Unless they're explicitly named on the invitation then sorry, no you cannot. We want to keep the celebration to family and friends.
A lift is available in the Grain Loft for disabled visitors, elderly guests and guests with push chairs. Registered assistance animals such as guide dogs are allowed by prior arrangement. Please let us know about any additional accessibility needs when you RSVP, or via our contact details above.
The venue is licensed so no, you cannot bring your own drinks or we might get kicked out!
Honestly, we're just happy that you'll be taking the time to share the day with us, so we aren't asking for any gifts or money. However, there will be a box for cards if you would like to leave us a memento. As an alternative to a gift, it would mean a lot to us if you instead left a donation to a charity that means a lot to us: SAYiT - a charity supporting LGBTQ+ young people in Sheffield (https://www.sayit.org.uk/donate) Paws2Rescue - the Romanian rescue dog charity where we adopted Stevie Sticks (https://paws2rescue.com/donate/) Thank you :)
You will be missed but we understand other plans and life sometimes get in the way, just please let us know when you RSVP so that we can plan accordingly.
