Strategic Air Command & Aerospace Museum
This is a museum that showcases various planes that have been restored. This includes more modern planes, as well as aircrafts from the Cold War and WWII. Here you also will find a plane similar to the one Andrew was first assigned too in the Air Force!
Wildlife Safari Park
This is a drive through safari where you can drive your car through various animal habitats. Andrew and I have been here before, and as you can see we almost didn't make it out alive. Every year they add a theme throughout the park, and in this case the safari was brought to life with Dinos. No sure what the 2025 theme will be, but this park is always a good time!
Robber’s Cave Tours
We have never done this, BUT it has a lot of reviews so it could be a cool thing to check out. (Enter at your own risk). They do daily tours of caves and it looks like a really cool experience if you want to do something adventurous.
Round 1 Bowling & Arcade Gateway Mall
Looking for late night fun with the family? The Round 1 arcade franchise is scattered across the globe with any and every classic and modern arcade game! As well as bowling and other fun activities it's a great place to unwind and have a fun night out with the kids!
LaMar's Donuts and Coffee
If you are a donut lover, you MUST not go but RUN to Lamars! Be sure to get there early in the mornings because they sell out FAST! They have homemade quality cake donuts, bear claws, long johns etc. You can get any donut filled with a filling of your choice! They are by far the Father of the Bride's favorite donut on Earth!
The Mill Coffee & Tea
The mill is a specialty coffee shop with multiple locations in Lincoln and Omaha. They make top tier espresso drinks and have some delicious homemade Poptart's! Gabbie swears by the Mill as her favorite coffee! She drinks more coffee a week than probably anyone else in the USA...so I'd go out of my way to have an iced latte from the Mill!
Good Evans Breakfast & Lunch
This must stop mom and pop breakfast place will fill up FAST in the morning. If breakfast is your favorite meal this is the place to go out of your way to start your day! With breakfast platters and pancakes that are unfathomably huge! This breakfast/brunch spot will fill you up for your whole day if you wanna skip lunch!
Runza Restaurant
This Nebraska fast food staple is as Midwest as it possibly gets. If you want a quick bite Gabbie would have to say go to runza. We even had our first date at Runza! Their unique beef and cabbage wraps are what make them stand out as basically it’s own food group for native Nebraskans.
Lazlo's Brewery & Grill - South
This family style pub is always rockin and poppin in this little college town, they have plenty of food and drink options for the whole family as well as multiple locations. If you’re looking to grab a small bite or a drink this is a great place to go!
Blue Sushi Sake Grill
This is the place that made Andrew appreciate and enjoy sushi! If you know how picky an eater he is…you’ll know that's a big deal. Their Crab rangoon appetizer as well as their specialty rolls are something to go out of your way for. I know you may question seafood in Nebraska. But, Blue is spreading like wildfire across the nation as a rising sushi empire!
Single Barrel
This Midwest steakhouse and bourbon bar is a quality sit down experience for beef and bourbon lovers! With some delicious entrees and cocktails it is a great place to wind down and enjoy a bite to eat!
VS ARCADE BAR
Now if you don't have littles and you want the thrill of an arcade WITH alcohol! VS Arcade Bar is for you! They offer all of the retro arcade games from the 80's as well as pinball in a spacious underground bar! Don't forget your quarters! Can you get the new high score? Be sure to let us know!

A larger venue with lots of options for craft beer lovers, code beer provides a spacious sit-down taproom with craft beer flights and games like giant connect four! A great spot to have some laughs and a relaxing beer with some friends!
Starlite Lounge & Banquet Room
A beautiful sit-down cocktail experience with about any and every drink you could imagine! This retro lounge is a tucked away basement bar with some unique booths and vibes. Make sure you’re early if you want to get a great seat because like Gah Linda this spot sure is popular.
The Other Room
This late date night spot is secluded and almost hard to find…the other room is a speakeasy where you will have to navigate your way in to try some exclusive cocktails! Let us know if you figure out the secret password. I think you may have to knock twice. (Cash only)
Iguana's Pub
One of the most renowned places to go get the frog shot! Yep that’s right, a frog shot! This mystery drink is like a UNL rite of passage when exploring the bar scene in Lincoln! Accompanied with music and dancing this little bar is always a spot to go in and have a fun time!
