Maid of Honor
Sabrina has been Jess's best friend for 18 years. They met in 6th grade and have been there for each other ever since. Despite continuously living states apart, their friendship has continued to get stronger every year. No matter what is going on, Jess can always count on Sabrina being there for her when she needs it (or when she just needs a fit check). Jess could not imagine her wedding day without Sabrina right there by her side.
Matron of Honor
Jonnie and Jess have been known to be inseparable (potentially to an annoying level) since they met in middle school. They have been through all the big stages of life together and continue to support each other despite geographical distance. Jonnemarie is always Jess’s go-to girl for when she needs to understand her intuition and how to go after what she wants!
Bridesmaid
Stephanie and Jess met during their first duty assignment at Patrick AFB, FL. The friendship was instant - meeting at a NYE party a few hours away, they ended up driving home together, talking the whole way back so intensely that they missed their exit. Jess and Stephanie enjoyed everything Florida had to offer (aka Disney) for two years before the PCS season split them apart. Despite being separated in distance, Jess and Stephanie have continued to be huge parts of each other's lives.
Bridesmaid
Sarah is not just a bridesmaid, but also the Sister of the Groom. Jess definitely won in the sister-in-law department here, Sarah has been nothing but welcoming and supportive since they met. After getting to spend so much time together between Buffalo holidays and Virginia visits, Jess is so excited to be a part of the Handley family and cannot wait to officially call Sarah her sister!
Best Man
When Matt was getting his government background check, he intentionally left G's name off the list of contacts because he thought Mike "knew too much" and G's integrity wouldn't allow him to hold anything back. It didn't take them long to track him down though. Neighborhood friends since 8, and even roommates throughout college, these two have a lot of stories to share.
Groomsman
One of Matt's oldest friends, growing up a stones throw away from each other. Their first memory together involved taking turns dropping pebbles on one another until it ended in blood and tears. Despite this rocky start, Matt and Mike have become the definition of life-long friends.
Groomsman
The glue guy, bringing a veteran presence to the lineup. This will be Jimmy's 31st wedding party. Matt and Jimmy met through mutual friends in college, but discovered they had a lot of common interests. They became teammates on the ice, and used their UB engineering degrees to solve complex fluid dynamic problems on the weekends. Jimmy is the type of friend who will find laughter in all the small things.
Groomsman
Another one of Matt’s childhood friends, Alex grew up just down the street, and together they brought plenty of chaos to the neighborhood. Though their careers eventually took them out of Buffalo and into cities across the country, they kept their bond strong by taking the circus on the road—never passing up a spontaneous road trip or a Bills away game.
Groomsman in Absentia
Identifiable as the groomsman with the most hair and fewest teeth. During high school, Cole assimilated into Matt's neighborhood despite never officially moving in. Cole can always be relied on for bringing the fun through some friendly competition and making everyone feel like a winner.
