Haley had just graduated high school and Brandon was starting his junior year of college. Haley flew down to the Bay Area to visit her cousin, who had planned a road trip to SoCal for a Halloween themed music festival with a bunch of his friends. That's where we first met! We didn't become close friends until the following couple of years though, as our festival family grew closer and closer together. It wasn't long before the two of us realized how much we had in common (especially on the dancefloor) and became best friends, and then ultimately, life partners.

Our close friendship transitioned into a romance in the late summer of 2015. We made a crazy/spontaneous decision to go to Hawaii together before we were even "official." It turned out to be one of the best decisions of our lives. Since then we have also travelled to: Chicago, Las Vegas, Wisconsin, Colorado, Mexico, Fiji, Canada, and many beautiful spots on the West Coast. Our wanderlust has only just begun!

In October 2020, we decided to challenge ourselves with the Clouds Rest hike in Yosemite National Park. Haley thought it was only going to be the two of us, but when we drove up to the trailhead at the crack of dawn, she was happily surprised to see her cousins waiting for them! The surprises didn't end there though, as Brandon dropped to a knee at the top of Clouds Rest and pulled out a stunning sapphire ring. The answer was obviously YES and the other hikers nearby cheered. We got some great pictures thanks to the cousins and Brandon made it an incredibly special moment that we will never forget.
