We first met working at pizza hut. I was working full time as a shift leader putting myself through college and Adam was working part time for some extra cash. We instantly hit it off. The very first time we met we talked like we had known each other for years. For me, this is super rare. I have always been shy and very stand off when first meeting someone. This was absolutely not the case when meeting Adam. Instantly we became super close friends. Fast forward six months, many hours spent together, meeting Adams son Jackson and our friendship became a relationship. We made it official on 12/04/2014.
After two homes, two dogs, a cat, a hamster, tons of ups and downs, and many years of dating; the talk of marriage was defiantly mentioned a few times. Adam had came up with his proposal plan without me ever knowing. He took my dad out to eat to ask his permission months in advance. (I never even knew they had lunch together until way later on!) Adam then proposed during the Buckley family vacation on 07/31/2018. He knew how much my family meant to me and wanted as many people to be there to witness the day as possible. He stood up at the fire pit one night in front of everyone, said his speech, and got down on one knee. I said yes of course!
