FAQs

Question

Are you allowing plus ones?

Answer

Please refer to your wedding invitation envelope, which will specify the names of each invited guest. At this time, there is no additional capacity for plus ones unless specified on your invitation.

Question

Are children included in our invitation?

Answer

As much as we love all of the many children in our lives, our reception will be an adults-only affair. We respectfully request that you please make arrangements for all children and babies in advance of wedding day. We are looking forward to celebrating with all of our guests, including children, at additional events throughout the weekend.

Question

What are some examples of your requested dress code?

Answer

Our wedding dress code is formal. Long formal dresses, gowns, formal jumpsuits, suits, and tuxedos are welcome. We've also specified to please dress colorfully - this means that at our wedding, there is no need to shy away from those colorful, floral, sparkly gowns, bow ties, or dinner jackets that let your personalities really shine! Please respect the formality of the event by avoiding sundresses, short lengths, and mid-section cut-outs. Looking for outfit inspiration? Click here! https://pin.it/4OxG4zt

Question

What time should I arrive to The Fairlie?

Answer

Plan extra driving time. Arrive early, by 5pm. The venue will be open to welcome you as early as 4:30 pm. Our ceremony will begin no later than 5:15 pm. Just don't be late! Thank you!

Question

Is there parking at the Fairlie?

Answer

There is a free parking lot at the Fairlie and we will also have a security guard on duty overseeing the parking lot until midnight. If you plan on drinking with us, we recommend Uber, lyft, or leaving your car overnight at the Fairlie for pickup the next morning.
