André's Confiserie Suisse
Need a BBQ break? Andre's is a KC institution. Family-owned and operated by a Swiss family since the 1950s, known for its cozy lunch, decorative pastries, and of course, Swiss chocolate.
Country Club Plaza
If you're in the mood for shopping, The Plaza is a quick Uber ride from downtown. Fun fact: Built in 1922 as the world's first outdoor shopping center, it is architecturally designed to replicate Seville, Spain.

The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art
One of the most impressive art collections in the world featuring works by Georgia O'Keeffe, Rembrandt, Monet and Kehinde Wiley. The stunning grounds and buildings' architecture are enough reason to visit.
National WWI Museum and Memorial
For those who love world history... CNN ranked this site the #2 military museum in the world for good reason. The exhibit begins with visitors crossing a glass bridge over 9,000 red poppies before entering an incredible telling of the Great War.
Union Station
Located adjacent to the World War I Museum, the iconic Union Station is full of history, exhibits, restaurants, and still functions as a major train station. Look for the LeVota kids' personalized brick outside the main entrance. :)
Green Lady Lounge
Live jazz...a staple for KC culture. No TV's or distractions from some of the best musicians in town. Drink menu only, open seating, no cover.
