Angelique’s sister. She’s four years younger but has always been mentally 20 years older than her actual age. Fun fact, when she was little (like 4) she used to sit in a full lotus for up to 30 minutes quietly and adults would ask her what she was doing. She would say “Shhh! I’m meditating.” Victoria is also an incredible baker and sign language interpreter!

Aunt Renee is more like Angelique’s older sister than her aunt. They’re only 13.5 years apart. Aunt Renee is a professional nurse. She’s funny, fun to be around and taught Angelique most of what she knows about cooking.

He is also notorious within their friend circle for trying on and stretching out the shoulders of all of Angelique’s winter coats…He will also show up any time/place when those he loves need him.

Charisse is Angelique’s friend from Grad school. They are also accountability partners and talk/text every day on multiple platforms. Charisse is also an incredible math teacher and has recently moved to leadership for her network of schools.

Lynn’s son, Gavin, was Angelique’s first friend in California. Angelique taught then 6 year old Gavin the basics on piano. If Gavin was her first friend, Lynn was her second. She’s the best hugger in the whole world and she gave Angelique basically every one of her nicest outfits.

Bryan is an amazing piano player! Bryan also works in eye imaging software. Angelique met Bryan at a piano bar in Oakland, called The Alley. Angelique likes to constantly make jokes about Bryan being her significantly older adopted brother. They look more like siblings then Victoria and Angelique do.

Rachel is another one of Angelique’s friends from The Alley. She is a wonderful singer and a professional writer. She does dance reviews for multiple publications including the SF Chronicle. She’s also another accountability partner and texts daily with Angelique. She’s kind, loving and always down for a That’s What She Said joke.

Wes is one of Angelique’s best friends. When they first became friends, Wes was vegan. It was a terrible ordeal that Angelique had to suffer through…picking restaurants was a nightmare! Eventually he learned the error of his ways and started eating like a normal person. Wes is an incredible Graphic Designer/Artist and he sings Ain’t no Sunshine like no one else can!
