Alex's alma mater and a beautiful campus to explore!
The heart of Cuban culture found in Miami, explore our favorite restaurants like Versailles (the bakery is a must, especially the pastelitos)! For non-Cuban options, we love Mi Rinconcito Mexicano (which also has a fantastic bakery inside), Lung Yai Thai Tapas, and Sanguich, all found on SW 8th Street (Calle Ocho)
With great baked goods, salads, sandwiches, and everything else in-between, make sure to check out one of our favorite local spots for lunch and dinner! Rachel says make sure to try their sesame noodles, and feel free to bring us back some, as well!
Our favorite sushi restaurant in Miami without question. No frills, just delicious food and great people. Be sure to get in line by 5:30pm if you want to get first seating at 6pm, otherwise we recommend grabbing a drink at Bob's Your Uncle next door while you wait!
Our favorite Peruvian cuisine in Miami! We recommend the arroz chaufa, lomo saltado, ceviches, and of course, a pisco sour de maracuja!
Our favorite breakfast and lunch place near our old apartment- you can get anything from eggs, to french toast, to chicken parm sandwiches, and chicken caesar wraps. You can't go wrong!
Homestyle Greek food made by the sweetest family - we recommend the MLGD cold sampler (tzatziki and olive hummus, of course!), their ginormous greek salads, and any kind of pita. Their desserts are delicious too!
Delicious israeli food! Their schnitzel pitas are to die for and their limonannas are especially refreshing on a nice warm Miami day!
Large outdoor patio to hang out and enjoy wine and charcuterie - beware that it does get busy so plan to arrive early to get a table!
