Levi and I met through my roommate and mutual friend. Levi would frequently come my house for dinners in 2021. In January 2022 we went to Ensenada, just the two of us and spent the whole day together. I started liking Levi during and after our Ensenada day trip, but did not want to bring it up or admit it. Over the next few months we kept hanging out as friends and getting to know each other, more on a one to one basis than in group hangouts as we commonly did previously. Fast forward to August 2022, I told Levi I liked him and asked if he was open to exploring more than just friendship. Levi listed off the pro's and con's of us dating and then asked me out on a date. Our first date was kind of awkward, going from friendship to dating over the course of a few days felt weird. After dinner we hung out more and decided to go on a second date, and the rest is history. The Proposal Levi lives near beautiful hill top views of Coronado, Tijuana, and downtown San Diego; and there is a short hike you can do around the hilltop. We hiked up and around his house one day in April. I thought Levi was acting strange as we hiked up the hill. I asked him "are you ok?" He said "I'm excited..." I asked, "for what?" in confusion. I hugged him, then he got down on knee and said "I'm excited to spend the rest of my life with you! Will you marry me?" I immediately said “Yes!" Then we went to Coronado, one of our favorite places to go on dates, and had a celebration dinner together.
