Depending on the part of the island you are on it could be a about 2-3 hour drive . (The island is bigger than you expect.) BUT SO WORTH IT!

To get to the beach you have to take a ferry to the other island. 

When you get to the beach find the hermit crabs, go visit the old war tanks, or just sun tan and swim!
