Is there a dress code?

YES! We are requesting all attending to wear black :) the wedding will be indoors

Are Children + Spouses invited?

If they are on your wedding invite or you have a plus one - YES! Sadly, if not, we do not have the seating for them due to limited space

Is there parking available?

Our venue has limited parking in their parking lot, otherwise street parking is permitted

Will there be things to do during the social hour?

YES! We will have outdoor games and snacks at our venue, with a few fun options like a scavenger hunt!

Yes! We are registered on Amazon and have cash fund savings. Your presence is the greatest gift, but if you wish to give, we are grateful.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

We kindly ask guests to keep phones put away during the ceremony and enjoy the moment with us. We’ll share professional photos afterward!

You can leave whenever you need to, but the reception will come to a close at 10pm.

Are hotel rooms blocked for guests?

Answer

We have reserved a limited block of rooms at Country Inn & Suites in Brookings for the night of September 25th–26th. Rooms are available at a discounted rate of $149/night and include a king bed with a sofa bed. To book, please call the hotel and mention you are attending the Schroeder Wedding. Rooms will be held at this rate until June 25th, after which they will be released to the public at regular pricing. Guests are welcome to extend their stay based on availability. The hotel also offers a 48-hour cancellation policy. Please note that Brookings has other events taking place that weekend, so we recommend booking early. Airbnb or other lodging options are also welcome if preferred!
