LEVI: There was a time I was afraid to talk to Anna and the times at the bakery when we would deep clean the kitchen and talk endlessly about anything. She would kick down the door of the office with her black boots on to find her cleaning todo list taped to the ceiling for her convenience. Mere weeks before the COVID shutdown we decided we were really cool people worth the shot and our first date was me trying to convince her how we wouldn’t work together, and I brought my cousin Noah’s dog Lana, as a furry security blanket. She put my arm around her on the exceptionally cool March day and our hearts have been warmer ever since. ANNA - when I started at the bakery and first met Levi, I was freshly divorced, newly fired and very bitter to say the least. I wanted to be isolated so kept my new co-workers at a distance but as I worked one on one with Levi and got to know his history, witnessed his kindness and experienced his strong work ethic, I wanted to spend more time with him. Once I couldn't deny my want for his company, we sat down and talked about the future we both wanted. Within a two weeks, the world turned upsidedown as we entered a global pandemic and we've been inseparable ever since.
