We met on Chris' first day on the Target sales floor. There was an instant connection, and we both spent the next couple of weeks looking at the schedule (Michelle) and trying to stay in the Home section (Chris) before Michelle finally found Chris on Facebook so they could connect. Michelle's pick-up line? "What are your pronouns?"

We had been talking about getting engaged for months, when Michelle invited them to a fancy date night, Chris suspected that it would be *the* fancy date night. Michelle made all their favorite foods from scratch, including pasta by hand which took way longer than expected. After dinner but before dessert, Michelle read the poem New Vows by Sierra DeMulder and popped the question!
