Option 1: Driving - If you are feeling brave and would like to road trip then this is the option for you! It's a rough 25+ hours from NC currently, but you could stop along the way and visit some new spots! Option 2: Flying - The one you will most likely go with, and the best option in my book. As it stands flights out to Denver are going for $200 round trip. If you were to wait until a few months out to book you could find flights for under $100 into Denver. If you fly into Denver you will want to rent a car and take the 5 and a half hour drive to Ouray. You could also try flying into Grand Junction, which is just an hour and a half drive north from Ouray. Grand Junction is a bit more expensive to fly into, but it is your choice. If you have family/friends you could split the cost of renting a car that could save some money for you. Hotels: - Ouray has many options for you to stay the night in town. A simple Google search will give you plenty of hotels and airbnb's to choose from!
