Our story has been an adventerous ride! We first met when Lauren went to Orlando, FL to do an internship at Walt Disney World while Jeff was attending UCF in Orlando, FL. From there we have lived in Arkansas, Fort Lauderdale, Orlando again, New Jersey, and now we currently reside in the Washington D.C area. No matter where life has taken us our love only grew stronger through it all. We are loving our new life in the D.C area with our adorable pups! We can't wait to make things official after seven years.

Lauren's family took a trip to New York City to celebrate the youngest Gibson's high school graduation. Jeff was supposed to join the Gibson crew on the trip, however, he got exciting news to go to Oklahoma City for training to become an Air Traffic Controller. Little did Lauren, Jeff had been planning with her sister to proposal during this trip since December. A few days into the trip, Lauren's sister convinced her that they were going to explore Central Park and have lunch with her friend at Tavern on the Green in Central Park. It was a very hot day and Lauren was very stubborn about going all over Central Park :D. Last minute the plans changed. We went straight to the restaurant and there was Jeff with his family. At first Lauren thought it was a surprise visit before Jeff got down on one knee and made her ugly girl cry from complete shock. Jeff took his only two days off from the extremely stressful ATC training and flew to NYC to propose. Talk about romantic! It was the most perfect day and we were so lucky to spend with our family.
