Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Mary Snodgrass and Spencer Kimes
Here are some of our favorite things to do and places to eat in Santa Barbara!
The Mill

The Mill

406-414 East Haley Street, Santa Barbara, CA 93101

This restored feed mill was built over 100 years ago and is now home to a winery and tasting bar, a craft brewery and tap room, and a specialty restaurant. You can spend all day here! We are OBSESSED with the smash burgers at Third Window Brewing Co.

The Funk Zone

The Funk Zone

137 Anacapa Street, Santa Barbara, CA 93101

Located near lower State Street and close to the waterfront, The Funk Zone is one of Santa Barbara’s most vibrant and evolving neighborhoods. The walkable 13-block area is home to some of the city’s best restaurants, wine tasting rooms, breweries, boutiques, galleries, and more!

Stearns Wharf

Stearns Wharf

217 Stearns Wharf, Santa Barbara, CA 93101

California’s oldest working wharf! This famous boardwalk is also home to three full-service restaurants, serving freshly caught seafood, as well as a tasting room!

Douglas Family Preserve & Arroyo Burro Beach

Douglas Family Preserve & Arroyo Burro Beach

2981 Cliff Dr, Santa Barbara, CA 93109

Some of the best (and easiest) coastal hiking you will ever do! The trails are mostly flat with views of the ocean as you venture through oak tree groves and meadows filled with wildflowers. The Boathouse at Arroyo Beach is an excellent place for lunch or a sunset cocktail!

Santa Barbara County Courthouse

Santa Barbara County Courthouse

1100 Anacapa Street, Santa Barbara, CA 93101

The beloved Santa Barbara County Courthouse is a designated National Historic Landmark and one of the most photographed buildings in the country. Simply walk around or take a tour, but be sure not to miss this impressive historical complex and gardens.

Whale Watching

Whale Watching

302 West Cabrillo Boulevard, Santa Barbara, CA 93101

There are a few different companies that offer whale watching tours in Santa Barbara. From May to September you can see Blue Whales, Minke Whales and Humpback Whales. There have been recent sightings of Orcas as well. All season long you have an excellent chance of seeing dolphins, seals and sea lions.
