Question

RSVP date?

Answer

Kindly RSVP by February 8, 2025. This deadline is crucial due to our venue and vendor requirements. Our wedding planner will keep track of all guest names, so please RSVP with a definite 'yes' or 'no' to avoid any disappointment. If your plans change after confirming your attendance, please inform us, as we pay per guest. If we do not receive your RSVP by the deadline, your response will be marked as declined. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. ❤️

Are kids allowed?

Answer

After thoughtful consideration and prayer, the couple has decided to make special arrangements for the ceremony. While we initially planned otherwise, we have agreed to set up a separate area for children under the age of 4, on the property, where guardians can watch the ceremony via live stream. The couple loves you and your children, but we want to ensure that the special moments of the day are uninterrupted. We appreciate your understanding in this matter. Please note that this will be enforced by the wedding planner. During the reception, we kindly ask that if your children become restless during special moments, you step away with them to avoid disrupting other guests. This consideration is to respect both the guests and the couple. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Can I bring a plus one?

Please RSVP only for yourself and any guests listed under your reservation. If you don’t see an additional guest, the invitation is just for you. Our wedding planner will have a guest list to ensure everyone has a seat and is well taken care of. Thank you for helping us plan a smooth and special day!

Accommodations?

Answer

Hotel Blocks have been made for TownePlace Suites in Goldsboro, NC. You will be able to book additional days outside the hotel block online or by calling directly. A shuttle will be provided from this hotel only for those that do not have transportation and will need a ride to the venue.

Is there parking at the venue?

Yes, there is a bug parking lot at the venue.

Is the wedding inside or outside?

Answer

Please be aware that both the ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors. The chapel is open-air, with no walls, and the cocktail hour is also outside. The reception will be held indoors. In Goldsboro, the weather typically averages around 80°F during the day and 60°F at night in May, so please dress accordingly.

What time should I arrive

The wedding will start promptly at 4pm. Please arrive 3:30 latest, you will want to take advantage of the photo ops and DJ before the ceremony. There will be no one walking in at 4pm besides the bride❤️

Ladies, we kindly ask that you refrain from wearing white 😜. Other than that, everyone please feel free to dress in whatever makes you feel comfortable and fabulous!

Will there be transportation?

A shuttle will be available from TownePlace Suites for guests needing a ride to and from the venue. Airport Shuttle: We’re currently awaiting confirmation from the shuttle company regarding airport transfers. For now, this service is to be confirmed. Please check back for updates. Thank you

Is there anything special about the wedding I should be aware of?

Join us for a day of love and laughter at Birdsong Chapel, a charming hidden gem surrounded by nature’s serenity. With its rustic barn-style reception hall, the venue’s remote charm means no Wi-Fi, no distractions—just good company and great memories. Oh, and leave the cocktails at home; it’s a dry wedding, but we promise plenty of joy and celebration to keep your spirits high!
