COVID-19 & FAQs

COVID-19: We will be monitoring the continuously changing circumstances that the COVID-19 pandemic presents as well as federal, state, and local regulations related to COVID-19 restrictions until our wedding. Current Guidance (8/24/21): There are no regulations or polices requiring mask mandates, vaccination, COVID-19 testing, or capacity or other restrictions in Foxborough or at the venue. Please be aware that we have answered COVID-19 related questions below based on the current regulations in Massachusetts and at our venue, but these regulations could change at any time. If you have any questions other than those listed below, please reach out to Nadine or Will directly.
Question

Will the Patriots having a home game the day of your wedding impact the wedding?

Answer

Yes. Lakeview Pavillion is just minutes from Gillette Stadium and is impacted by the high volume of people in the area for the game. The Patriots game starts at 4:25 and the wedding begins at 4:30 on 9/12/2021. -Increased Traffic: Please plan to arrive sufficiently early (but no earlier than 4:00 PM) as there will likely be heavy traffic in the area. -Limited Availability and Increased Hotel Prices: Most of the hotels in the surrounding area are either unwilling to do a hotel block or would only offer blocks at premium prices. We suggest that you stay at our hotel block to provide you with a quality stay at a reasonable price.

Question

Will there be a shuttle to/from the hotel block? What time does it leave on 9/12?

Answer

Yes! For guests staying at the hotel block, we have arranged for a motor coach to transport guests to and from the Boston Marriott Newton and Lakeview Pavilion operated by Fisher Bus. The bus will begin boarding at 2:30 PM and leave at 2:45 PM. Further details will be provided at the hotel upon check-in.

Question

What COVID-19 precautions are you taking?

Answer

Our wedding will adhere to all government regulations, as well as any additional regulations imposed by the venue, that are in effect at the time of the wedding. We want to make sure that the wedding is as safe as it is fun! Currently, there are no regulations or policies mandating masks, restricting capacity, or imposing other restrictions in Foxborough or at Lakeview Pavilion. However, in light of recent COVID-19 cases, we wanted to provide you with our COVID-19 considerations. The ceremony and reception will be indoors, however, the venue is ventilated and very large (capacity of 400 people compared to our expected guest count of less than 140). Further, we welcome masks if you choose to wear one. We encourage anyone who is unvaccinated to receive a negative COVID-19 test 48-72 hours prior to the weeding.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes. Both the ceremony and reception are at the same venue, which has a large parking lot for guests.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes, we are registered through Zola! See the "Registry" section of this website!

Question

Do you have a hotel block?

Answer

Yes, we have a limited number of rooms at the Boston Marriott Newton in Newton, MA. However, we have been informed that the block is closed for any new bookings between now and the wedding. Please reach out to Will or Nadine if you have any concerns with where you will be staying.
