Though our paths may have crossed many times before, it wasn't until a snowy day during our junior year at the University of Scranton that we met and bonded over our choice in music at a friend's house (Biggie Smalls by the way). We had our first date in the campus dining hall and little did we know it was the start of something special, making it "official" March 7th, 2014.
We got engaged at Sagamore Hill, a place we hold close to our hearts since moving to our first apartment in Oyster Bay. Elizabeth wanted to spend the morning making breakfast and relaxing, as most of our Saturday mornings go, but Patrick was ready to leave the house bright and early--this should've been a give-away, especially since it was freezing outside. He got down on one knee and proposed on the boardwalk overlooking Cold Spring Harbor. Patrick's sister, Rita, and brother-in-law, Danny, were hiding down the trail, taking photos of this amazing moment. To add to the surprise, Patrick had our families gathered and ready to celebrate afterwards at his mom's house. Best day ever!
2020 certainly had different plans for all of us, so let's try this (Hen)again. Out of concern for the safety of our loved ones, we made the difficult decision to postpone our wedding to September 4, 2021. We thank you for all of the love and support and can't wait to celebrate with you out on the dance floor!
