Dan & Nicole met through a mutual friend and went on their first date a week before Nicole left for college 280 miles away. The distance apart quickly made them realize how strong their feelings were. A few weeks later, Dan came to surprise Nicole with a visit on September 7, 2018. And, at last, the story began.

Suddenly, the family trip to Costa Rica became so much more. As Dan & Nicole got ready for "family photos", Nicole had no idea Dan would be down on one knee just moments later. And so began forever.
