We first met in June of 2002 at Nick's cousin, David's, 8th grade gradation party. We remained good friends throughout high school and college until 2010 when our friendship evolved to more. That's when Lauren introduced Nick to Notre Dame football and became a big fan! The same isn't true for Lauren and the Green Bay Packers. We have shared many adventures over the years. Lots of weddings, vacations, date nights and cozy nights at home.

Our favorite adventure to date, happened on April 30, 2021. We went Glamping for a weekend in Michigan. As we were getting set up, Lauren was busy organizing and Nick was just waiting for Lauren to settle in by the campfire. He was waiting for the perfect moment for a while with the ring in his pocket. Finally, Nick got down on one knee inside the tent and asked Lauren to marry him! Obviously, Lauren said yes! It was so unexpected at that moment! It was a perfect weekend just the two of us in Michigan. Glamping will always be special to us!
