Cody and I met in the fourth grade at Laura Dodge. Our very first date was at a school event held at Skateland. After skating around for a little while we went to the bounce house where he tried getting his first kiss. Of course I denied him so he ended up moving away. Cody and I both attended Burke High but with me being a busy mother and student and him being to cool for school we never saw each other. A few years after high school our mutual friend Preston had a concert and to my surprise Cody was the photographer. After the show was over we talked for a while and havent spent a day apart since
Cody took me on a carriage ride around the old market. He continued to name fancy restaurants of where we should get dinner and my response was “how about we just grab taco bell” and that day he realized he would marry me.
Cody and I have talked about getting married since the first week of dating. We just knew we were meant to be together. For our gender reveal my best friend made us an oven which was filled with multiple boxes saying girl (cupcake) or boy (stud muffin). To my surprise the last box said Boy but there was a black box inside. Cody got down on one knee and asked me to be his.
