It was the first day we were both on Emory and Henry's campus, in preparation for preseason soccer, when we first met. After multiple late night food runs, morning breakfasts in the Caf, discussions about soccer, and sharing a love for similar tastes in music, things kind of just clicked. What we knew as friendship turned into something even more meaningful. The day Will graduated from Emory and Henry, we said "we can do this", and here we are almost 6 years later.
We had just finished having dinner at Merchants in downtown Nashville. The city was more quiet than usual as many people were preparing for the festivities of New Year's Eve. We were walking over the walking bridge when Will started to slow down his pace. We looked back at the perfectly lite Nashville skyline and I made a comment about how incredible it would be to live in this city someday. When I looked back at Will, he was on one knee. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in our favorite city!
